RadCooks Community Kitchen

Charity

The charity supports isolated and vulnerable people in Radcliffe on Trent, It is offering delicious, nutritional, home cooked meals to those eligible and living in Radcliffe. They currently serve circa 70 meals, relying solely on volunteers who generously give up their time to help in the kitchen and deliver meals every Sunday.

The Trust has been assisting the people of Radcliffe on Trent for over 400 years. The Trustees consider grants for relief of poverty, help in a time of crisis, advancement of education and for small Radcliffe on Trent groups and organisations.

Radcliffe Community Gardens

Charity

The Radcliffe Community Gardens club brings people together through gardening, offering a welcoming space that supports mental wellbeing, social connection and learning new skills. Volunteers grow fresh vegetables in an environmentally friendly way, encouraging sustainable living and supplying produce to RadCooks, while helping residents enjoy the benefits of being outdoors, working together and caring for their local environment. They meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at the Lees Barn road allotments.

Conservation Group

A voluntary group of mainly Radcliffe Residents who help to maintain local green spaces around Radcliffe on Trent, including the riverside area and Lily Ponds and Dewberry Hill. It holds weekly work sessions, and meets most Wednesday mornings 9fortnightly during summer). Activities typically include maintenance of pathways to facilitate access both for walkers and anglers, pruning back brambles, litter clearance, tree planting and maintenance and control of invasive non-native Himalayan Balsam. The group is also engaged in amphibian and wildlife survey work. The group provides most tools, there is no membership fee and all are welcome to join in.

Radcliffe on Trent Local History Society

Radcliffe on Trent Local History Society is a small archive and research group. The group holds talks monthly, for more information check their website. They also pleased to assist in some elements of family research if the information is available in their own archives and to learn more about local Radcliffe families, people and places and especially any documents or pictures that the community would like to share with them.
