History:
The Radcliffe-on-Trent Christmas Fair and Light Switch-on has been running for decades, generally on the last weekend in November.
This primary community fair hosted by the Radcliffe-on-Trent Parish Council and Radcliffe Christmas Fair committee has been a staple in the area for many years, drawing crowds of hundreds to celebrate the season with over 40 stalls, Santa’s grotto, rides, and food.

Other seasonal markets have been established at local venues more recently:
The Royal Oak Christmas Market: The pub on Main Road began hosting larger-scale, multi-vendor Christmas markets in the 2020s as part of their seasonal offerings.
The Radcliffe Winter Christmas Market: The pub on Shelford Road started organizing festive winter markets in the mid-2020s.
